The TDV02 measures air temperature and relative humidity. It sits in a ventilated, ribbed radiation shield. It can be mounted at a lower elevation than an anemometer, following WMO standards, so each sensor can be placed at the height its measurement needs. It connects to a SpaceEcho station and reports to EchoCloud.

Choosing between a combined unit and separate sensors
Wind, temperature and humidity can be measured in one unit or with separate sensors.
Combined — MET05
Wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity and pressure in one housing, on one mounting point. Wind accuracy ±0.3 m/s over 0–30 m/s. Limit: all parameters are measured at the same height. See the Meteorological Unit.
Separate — SA02 and TDV02
The Sonic Anemometer measures wind and the TDV02 measures temperature and humidity, each placed at the height its measurement needs, following WMO recommendations. Limits: more devices to mount and wire, and the SA02 accuracy is ±1 m/s or ±4 %.
